Reporting a repair

You can contact the Repairs Hotline to report a repair by:

  1. telephoning freephone 0800 0562758

  3. e-mailing nsh-hotline@nshousing.org.uk
  4. faxing us on 01275 398 025
  5. visiting our area offices
  6. telling your housing Officer, estate manager or support adviser

When you report a repair we will need to know:

  • your name, address and telephone number
  • what the problem is (be as specific as you can)
  • where the problem is (in the lounge, on the roof, in the communal corridor, etc)
  • how serious the problem is (for example is the leak just a drip or a steady flow of water?)
  • when we may visit you

We will inform you of the priority given to the repair and an indication as to how quickly it will be carried out.

Details of the repair will be passed to a surveyor who will either visit you to assess the repair or, if the repair is minor, pass it directly to a contractor to deal with.
