About us

NSHousing is a housing association based in North Somerset. We have a turnover of over £28 million a year, employ over 190  staff and work in partnership with local, regional and national agencies. We own around 6,500 properties and provide housing and related support to some 8,000 people.

We were 'born' in 2006 to manage homes which were transferred from North Somerset Council. Our vision remains to achieve smarter business, better homes and stronger communities.

Since we started we have supported a number of community based projects such as: Drug Proof Your Kids and Forward4Life Courses (free life skills courses). The largest project has been to support financial inclusion by setting up a  money advice service in partnership with the Citizens Advice Bureau and North Somerset Credit Union.
