World champ visits Weston

Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams, recently crowned world darts champion took time out to visit Weston in the run up to the BDO championships.

On a snowy night in December around 100 people turned out to meet Wolfie  who was joined by England youth international, Jake Jones with Louise Carroll, England national singles champion and NSHousing’s own resident involvement co-ordinator Linda Jones, a Welsh international player.

The event which was organised by NSHousing took place at Weston St Johns football club and proved to be a great success with the locals. 

The players took on all challengers and spent time chatting and signing autographs. As a result more than 50 people who attended said they would like to get involved or attend future events supported by NSHousing.

Following Wolfie’s recent success Linda Jones will be trying to get him back to show off his trophy.
